Question: Catalytic Converter is turning bright red.
I just replaced my Catalytic Converter 3 weeks ago and Last Night when I was coming home my car started to miss fire and my check engine light came on. I have a code 42. when I got my car in the drive way I noted that under my car it was very red. it was my catalytic Converter that I just put on 3 weeks ago when I had my camshaft magnet replaced. During the week my car smelled like rotten eggs but it when away. what is the problum here.
