Question: Disable alarm that sounds when unlock door with key

My Key Fob has died and it costs too much for me to fix it right now. When I unlock the door with the key, though, the alarm sounds and it is very embarrassing to deal with that every time I unlock the door. Is there a way to disable this? It seems pointless. I have the freakin' key, after all!

You have a G6? If you go into the menu and it is under Security. If it says RKE hold the enter button until it changes. That should help you out.
