Question: How to remove radiator

How do I remove readiator

I just removed the radiator on my 1972 SEL 4.5L. Fairly simple BUT yours may not be the same.
The key for me was the rubber loops on the top left & right sides of the radiator.
You release them & that lets the rad. move so you can pull it out- AFTER you do the following.

1.Loosen the shroud ( 4 screws) Drain The Radiator!!!
2.Take out the top & lower screws that hold the radiator to the OIL cooling radiator
,on the left looking at the front of the car(small).
3. Remove the The hoses & pipes going into the main radiator ( Inlet & Outlet ) (Oil Cooling In&Out).
4. It should slid up & out now. The first 6" may be tight. I used a BOTTLE JACK & a block of wood to ease it the first 6" or so.

I hope this helps you. Good luck War
