Question: Very VERY poor gas mileage
I recently bought a cts with 87xxx miles on it and i have been getting very bad gas mileage. If I go to work (which is only 8.4 miles away) I use about a quarter tank going there and back which seems entirely to much seeing as I only have a 3.2 under the hood. It idle's A LITTLE rough not to bad , and and the engine light comes on but it will sometime turn off by itself and then come back on in a week sometimes less. When I put gas in and go to start it up, the first time the car dies, then I'll turn it off and turn it back on and the starter motor will just keep trying to start the car until I press the gas all the way down, I'm sure it would get trying to start it without success until it killed itself. I don't know what's wrong, and I'm trying to figure out if it's going to be a ball-buster issue or just a quick fix, if anyone has any insight or tips that could help, I would greatly appreciate it.
