Question: where is fuses for 2004 corolla stereo located

looked under the hood couldnt find it

You should be able to find the fuse on the left kick panel where your left foot normally rests.

I own a 2004 Corolla and all of the fuses are inside the engine compartment, on the driver's side. Pop the hood and they are under a long black plastic lid to your right. Mine has a fuse removal tool and extra fuses with it. Simple. i found this out after almost an hour of looking for them under the driver-side dashboard. At least I got a workout, laying upside down on the reclined driver's seat. LOL Save yourself that pain! Look under the hood!
